This bill would create a $50 million grant program to support primary care nurse managed health centers (NMHCs). The new grant program would be placed within the Public Health Service Act and be administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Primary Health Care. This bill was introduced on September 27th and has been referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions.
